Privacy policy
Last updated 3 October 2026
PrepForDoc is an Australian preparation service for the UCAT ANZ, operated by Meensa Pty Ltd. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Your name and email address, when you create an account.
- If you sign in with Google: your name, email address and Google account identifier. We never receive your Google password.
- A protected (hashed) version of your password, if you set one. We cannot read your password.
- Your answers, marks, timings and progress in practice sets and mock exams.
- Anything you write to us, such as a report about a question.
- If you buy a plan: a record of the purchase. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are never stored by us.
Why we collect it
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
- To mark your attempts and show you your results, analysis and progress over time.
- To find and fix problems with questions, and to improve the service.
- To provide a plan you have bought and to contact you about your account.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who it is shared with
Your results are visible only to you and to PrepForDoc staff who maintain the service. We use other companies to run the service: a hosting provider that stores the website and database, Google if you choose to sign in with Google, and a payment provider if you buy a plan. Some of these companies store information outside Australia. They receive only what they need to do their job.
We do not send your personal information or your answers to any AI service.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies: one to keep you signed in, and a short-lived one while you sign in with Google. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and results while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal information and results, except where the law requires us to keep a record such as a payment.
Your choices
- You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- You can ask us to correct it or to delete your account.
- You can complain to us about how we have handled your information. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Students under 18
Many of our students are under 18. If you are under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian is happy for you to use PrepForDoc before you create an account or buy a plan.
